Why we think about tomorrow, today
Think outside the box
Innovation & knowledge advantage
Thinking outside the box is not always easy in today’s daily routine, but it is essential for successful further development. CAT Group not only invests in the development of innovative solutions and processes, but has also fostered an intensive exchange with science, research and companies in the industry for many years. These include, for example, the Fraunhofer Institute, the University of Stuttgart (Institute for Building Energetics, Thermotechnology and Energy Storage) and the Hahn Schickard Institute. We maintain cross-industry networks, are involved in various associations (ITGA Baden-Württemberg, VdF HLK e.V.) and attach great importance to a constant transfer of knowledge within our company.
This knowledge advantage ensures that our customers benefit from state-of-the-art processes in all areas. For us, innovation and research are part of our company’s DNA.
Give something back
Environment & society
CAT Group is clearly committed to its ecological responsibility. The concept of sustainability is firmly anchored in our corporate culture, and we consistently implement it. At our headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, we meet our energy demand, e.g., through sustainable power supply using our own photovoltaic system. Electric charging stations are available to our employees for their vehicles. Resource-efficient working, sustainable procurement, active avoidance of plastic waste and environmental education are also actively embraced at CAT Group.
We also have a long tradition of social commitment. In addition to regular donations to charity institutions, this also includes our support for sports and cultural projects. We are particularly passionate about regional projects. Among other things, CAT Group supports the charity organization Tafel Stuttgart e.V. as well as the Foundation of the University Children’s Hospital in Tübingen, Germany.
Beyond the actual work
Commitment & promotional work
For us, commitment is not an obligation, but a matter of course. That is why we work in various associations and networks.
Among other things, the CAT Group has been actively involved in the German industrial association Industrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung Baden-Württemberg e.V. (ITGA) for many years. ITGA brings together leading companies and organizations from all sectors of the TGA. The association especially focuses on networking, representation of interests and promotion of young talents. Currently, the Managing Director of CAT Group, Steffen Hild, is vice chairman of ITGA.
We also actively participate in the board of VdF HLK (German Association of Sponsors of Research in the Field of Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Stuttgart). The non-profit VdF HLK promotes research and intensive knowledge exchange in the field of building energetics, especially in heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology. Steffen Hild is chairman of VdF HLK.
