Our customer Meyer Burger ignites the turbo for the energy transition

Swiss photovoltaic specialist Meyer Burger Technology AG is expected to open its first factory for high-performance solar modules in the USA at the end of 2022. The new production facility in Goodyear, Arizona, will manufacture solar modules for private rooftop systems, industrial rooftop systems and solar parks.
We are also supporting our long-standing customer Meyer Burger in this exciting project –
first, as part of the site evaluation, which spanned several U.S. states. Subsequently, with the development of the conceptual design for the new solar module factory in Arizona.

Photovoltaics: A new era is dawning
Meyer Burger has played a key role in shaping the development of the global photovoltaic industry in recent decades – initially as a supplier of production systems, and since 2021 also with the manufacture of its own high-performance solar cells and modules. The Group relies on innovative heterojunction technology for solar cell production. Using this, the globally active company wants to set new standards in terms of efficiency, energy yield and environmental friendliness and lead photovoltaics into a new era worldwide.
